Our Artists
Most of our artists are work full time in our studio. Exceptions include a few who specialize in unusual styles. All of our artists have at least 10 years of painting experience along with a degree in fine arts. Since our task is to create the art of true masters, we're continually improving our skills and working together to push our abilities and make each work of art a true masterpiece. |

The Canvas
Our artists use high quality, 100% cotton canvas that is coated with acid-free titanium gesso, which ensures long term life for museum quality paintings. Cotton canvas has very durable fabric for oil painting. Canvases with a bigger weave are ideal for thick textured paintings and the finer weave canvases are well for finer works like portraits and architectures.

The Oil Paints
At All Art Painting Gallery we generally use Winsor & Newton, Rembrandt and Grumbacher. The oil paints utilized by our artists are specifically formulated to ensure pure, rich and vibrant colors, which is the result of the perfect balance of oil content and color pigment. |
The Painting Brushes
The above photo shows some common types of paintbrushes: Round, Flat, Bright, Filbert, Fan, Angle, Mop, and Rigger. Each type of paintbrushes comes with several sizes. As a painting process we usually go from using larger brushes to smaller brushes for details. |

Packing
The unframed painting will be covered in light plastic layer and then rolled in a very durable carton tube for protection. The framed painting will be packed in sturdy carton box on delivery.

How to Protect an Oil Painting
Oil paintings can last many for many generations, but only if they're carefully preserved. You must take special care to protect oil paintings from dust, scratches, humidity and other harmful factors. Here's how to protect an oil painting.
Step 1: Coat the surface of the painting with a layer of varnish to preserve it. This should only be done by the artist after the painting has thoroughly dried (about one year on average), or with the assistance of a knowledgeable conservator.ator.
Step 2: Hang oil paintings in places where they will not be knocked over or scratched. Make sure there is no possibility of water dripping onto it. Avoid placing oil paintings near windows, fireplaces, radiators, heaters and a/c vents.
Step 3: Remove dust from the surface of an oil painting with a soft brush (goat hair brushes from the craft store work well) or a pure white cloth. Don't use feather dusters or sheepskin dusters, which can catch on the surface texture of the paint and damage the painting. |
Step 4: Protect your oil paintings while moving. During the move, place them in a safe location, such as a closet, where they won't be bumped. You also can move them into your new home first. When your paintings aren't hanging, rest them, painted side out, against a wall with a padded surface beneath them. Do not cover paintings with plastic no matter where you store them. They need air circulation to prevent moisture buildup.
Step 5: Never place oil paintings in the kitchen or bathroom. The changing levels of humidity will cause damage including mold and/or mildew. Do not allow people to smoke in rooms where valuable paintings are kept.
Step 6: Wash your hands whenever handling an oil painting; oils from your hands can damage the surface. |
